3rd Annual Pointe Coupée Book Fair

On November 8, Ernest Gaines will take part in the 3rd Annual Pointe Coupée Book Fair. The event will take place at the Julian Poydras Museum and Arts Center in New Roads, LA. The event is part of the ongoing celebration of Ernest J. Gaines' first novel publication Catherine Carmier. The book fair will also take place near the area where Gaines grew up and the land he writes about.
